The meditating Buddha statue in the front of Tay Kak Sie temple. There is a ship on the background which is the miniature of Admiral Cheng Ho‘s ship. The ship was used as a stage to perform many attractions during the celebration of Chinese New Year.

Besides the red lanterns, there was also the Tree of Hope where people are hanging their papers of wish on it (which reminds me of Tanabata in Japan).
